Well after a year of following the Atkins Diet, I have lost 50lbs and have gone from a size 14 to a size 4-6. I like to say 4, but hey I'd take a 6 anyday! I am finding that this Christmas took a particular toll on my low carb life, and with much pleasure I sabotaged my lifestlye with almost daily pizza and way too many beverages of the adult gender. While altogether enjoyable (minus the stomach ache), I am now back at living my low carb life. I have been an active member on the Atkins facebook page, which was a lifesaver for me in the 2010 year. I have found friends, support and a good laugh on this site and there is always someone there to lend some advice and motivation. So today I weighed in at 135 lbs. I will track my weight weekly for everyone out there, and see if one day I might get to that ever elusive 120. I giggle as I say that, but hey you have to have a goal! I am interested in your goals? What do you want to lose, gain, tone, etc? Afer all its not all about weight loss, I need to tone lots on my body! For you other women out there like me with bellies that seem a little loose due to those beautiful children, any advice?
